Writer’s Almanac with Garrison Keeler

I took a creative writing class with Mindy Friddle (http://www.mindyfriddle.com/), author of the garden angel – which by the way is a really great book, and she suggested that any aspiring writer subscribe to Garrison Keeler’s daily poetry e-mail blasts to spark creativity, see how other artists use words as a form of expression and to get ideas on how you can write descriptively without using all those pesky cliches. 

I love my daily e-mails, especially because they contain so much information about other authors and poets, as well as historical information.  

There is some great information on Robert Frost today.
